Granite is a market leader in the purchase and sale of large portfolios of 1st lien SFR Non-Performing and Re-Performing mortgages. We acquire our loans directly from Tier 1 banks, Servicers, and GSE’s. We purchase assets in bulk and facilitate a market through the sale of these loans to smaller individual investors in a highly fragmented market. We purchase and manage these assets with the intent to keep homeowners in their houses, and avoid foreclosure altogether. If they do not have the financial means to stay, we facilitate a marketplace through the sale of these loans to smaller individual investors, family offices, and non-profits.

What’s the objective of Granite Strategic?

Granite Strategic Investments (GSI), primary business objective is to be a market leader in the purchase, management, and liquidation of 1st lien mortgage notes. We provide solutions to the banking sector, private investors, and the borrower community that have been affected by the recent financial downturn in the housing market.

How do I get started?

Per our company policy, each prospective Investor is required to complete a Non-Disclosure Agreement. Due to the sensitive nature of the information being shared, this agreement affirms that no information provided by GSI will be shared with any third parties.

01 Where do you typically acquire your loans from?

We typically purchase our loans directly from Tier 1 banks, Large Investment Banks, Larger Servicers, and directly from the GSE’s (Government Sponsored Enterprises).

02 How many loans does GSI purchase at a time?

Usually, this number varies, but we’ve been known to take down as little as 50 loans at a time, or as many as 1500 at a time. The purchase price and amount will vary.

03 How often does GSI purchase assets/loans?

We acquire portfolios on a monthly basis, but at times, if we take down a larger trade, we may purchase every other month. We like to remain consistent with our purchases month in and month out.

04 What type of loans does Granite purchase?

We purchase low-to-moderate income loans/properties. We specialize in purchasing loans with fair market values less than $ 250,000. We understand these borrowers and the attention they need, and we’ve specialized in buying these types of mortgage loans for the last 7 years.
